How Matching Works

We received a $100,000 pledge! Unfortunately, we cannot accept it outright. We operate under the Canadian Societies Act, which states that no more than 50% of donations can come from a single source each year. Hence, matching. We can double every dollar committed, but if we miss our $100,000 goal money is left on the table.

Your Impact

We empower rural Malawian villages through infrastructure and education. Based on our current estimates, CA$ 120,000 funds one complete project. This includes a community centre built sustainably from compact earth, solar power, rain collection, a well, a toilet block, permaculture education and all behind-the-scenes work.
