Ndalama Village Appreciation Ceremony

Village celebrates easy and efficient access to water

October 5th, 2023 was a wonderful day of celebration and thanksgiving for the village people of Ndalama as Compact board members, staff, villagers, neighbors, dignitaries, (approximately 150) and the local media gathered for the Appreciation Ceremony. Although contact with this village was made several years ago through mission work, the conversation with Compact started in September 2022 and training in February 2023, now we can all see the literal fruit of their labor. With the water tower supplying access for domestic use, serving almost 1,000 people, and land irrigation, the future is bright and greener. It has been said that if we want to change culture, we must create something beautiful and useful that builds that better culture. This is a good beginning for the district of Nkhotakota, Malawi, and your support continues to be vital in the development of this vision. Thanks to Chisomo Manije & Luke Beka for all their work in the field.
